I’m somebody who is suspicious of people who tell you what kind of person they are

I’m excited to play this show. It was Matt’s idea to play at Outsider—because it’s a cool place. In a town infested with craft brewers, this place stands out with a set-up that puts you in the middle of the brewing process. And lots of great beers.

So, one night after rehearsal, we went by and got a beer and dropped off a record and talked to the bartender about playing. The Outsider folks were already talking to Alla Prima, we pulled in Junior Ranger, and viola (sic.). What’s nice is AP and JR are both bands I would see—even if I weren’t on the bill—and from a hopeless curmudgeon like me, that’s high praise! Come out! It’ll be fun.
